A group of 40 Year 9 pupils visited Catalyst Museum of Science. Pupils had the opportunity to explore the interactive galleries to improve their understanding of some of the Science covered in lessons. The highlight of the day was a talk by Dr. John Kilcoyne who has appeared on the popular Brainiac Science Abuse TV series. This involved demonstrations of experiments which cannot be carried out safely in school. Dr. Kilconye also talked about need for pupils to consider future careers in Science by showing the importance of Science to Society.
