A few incidents have occurred in the local area involving students going to and from a variety of schools. We have been keen to advise parents and students as soon as we have been alerted to issues. Although these incidents did not take place at a school, we've suggested to parents and students that they should be extra vigilant at present when travelling to and from school. However, we are also encouraging them to keep calm and not panic.

The Police have reassured all the schools that they are fully investigating all incidents. The safety of our students is of paramount importance to us. We already talk to them about how to keep themselves safe and will be reinforcing our advice later today. They are clearly taking these messages on board and I am proud of the sensible and vigilant way in which our students are responding.

Thank you for your support,
Brian McNally, Headteacher

Another outstanding year for academic excellence at All Saints' Catholic High School

On behalf of the governors, staff and pupils I would like to welcome you to All Saints'. The school continues to grow its reputation for quality education and academic success. This year, we maintained our excellent academic achievements for the fourth year in a row whereby pupils achieved an outstanding 92% 5 A*-C GCSEs and 57% 5 A*-C grades including English and mathematics.

We provide an environment which helps children feel that they 'can do' and that no task is beyond them. Our philosophy is to nurture everyone's talents through the provision of stimulating lessons and a culture of praise.

Above all, as a Catholic school, we aim to create a community which enables children to grow in their faith. All Saints’ is a small school where every child is known and valued. We have the privileged job of guiding our youngsters into successful confident learners; it is our job to develop their talents to the full and help them shine!
